MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Long Description:
1. Responsible for directing and guiding maintenance activities for assigned area/shift in the execution of maintenance plans. Used as relief for Operations Supervisors.
2. Participate in the development of and implements plans and policies to ensure all areas of responsibility. Conduct maintenance in accordance with FDA guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP program guidelines.
3. Responsible for team development of maintenance employees in assigned areas according to targeted specifications, to achieve total quality. Helps to develop new Maintenance Supervisors in all responsibilities and promotes a positive attitude.
4. Responsible for problem solving process to resolve and/or mitigate those operational issues resulting in negative performance to plan as determined by the established escalation process.
5. Responsible for support of Lean Training as directed by Operations Manager for assigned area/shift.
6. Ensure adherence to all standard work processes
7. Responsible for compliance with all regulations. Food safety – plant in proper sanitary condition at all times, including allergen control, pest control, guidelines followed. Compliance with food safety policies and procedures. Compliance with employee safety policies and procedures.
8. Responsible for MCRS® sustainability: Ensure achievement of all area/shift KPIs; ensure adherence to and continuous improvement for all area/shift MCRS® elements.
9. Responsible for supporting the execution of relevant projects within assigned area/shift.
10. Responsible for supporting talent management process for hourly employees. Ensure Diversity and Inclusion meets/exceeds corporate standards. Proactively engage in the development and training of hourly labor and support such plans developed by Plant Leadership Management Team.
11. Experience with establishing and driving reliability centered maintenance programs
12. Maintain understanding of processes and functional interdependencies. Recognize and escalate, as needed, those issue identified as potential risks to, or, opportunities to improve plant performance.
13. Participate in daily food review.
14. Strong troubleshooting, driving to root cause using RCA methodology.
15.Experience and knowledgeable implementing and using Focused Improvement (FI)
16. Responsible for development and implementing of SMED/RCO.
17. Responsible for supporting talent management process for hourly employees. Ensure Diversity and Inclusion meets / exceeds corporate standards. Proactively engage in the development and training of hourly labor and support such plans developed by plant leadership.
18. Maintain understanding of processes and functional interdependencies. Recognize and escalate, as needed, those issues identified as risks to, or opportunities to improve, plant performance.
