Long Description:
Oversee all aspects of Project Operations including Plant Operations & Maintenance and Plant Financial Operations. Provide input and support regarding Operations, Maintenance, and financial matters to the Management Committee. General oversight for all plant operations & maintenance, including plant performance oversight and metrics, project development support, plant maintenance and condition, training, plant safety, environmental compliance, policy administration and has purchasing authority for required materials and services. General oversight for all financial operations including accounting overview, annual audited financials, cash flow analysis and recommendations, development and implementation of annual budget, and CapEx management. Responsible for maintaining and adhering to all budget and emergency expenditures. Provide interface for the NV Energy PPA Responsible for maintaining a competent, well-trained staff including coordination of all external consultants. Management committee meeting procedures, minutes, and action items including O&M representative of the project to the committee. Required to work cooperatively with, understand, and implement the Management Committee’s goals and objectives. Responsible for maintaining steam host relationships. Manage insurance, monitor and coordinate fuel use, drive performance improvements initiatives, and act as the primary lender interface (when applicable).

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance or related field, or the equivalent in training or experience. Minimum 8 years experience in power plant operations. Extensive knowledge of gas and steam technologies including start-up and operations of gas turbine generators preferred, understanding of project accounting requirements. Proven managerial/supervisory experience. Demonstrated experience indicating effective communication skills, analytic ability, detail orientation, and ability to make decisions and meet deadlines. Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to develop electronic based analyses and tools. Master’s degree in business administration desired.
