Long Description:
The Kellogg's Company is currently seeking a Food Technologist in Battle Creek, MI.
Develop, organize, manage and coordinate food development projects including scale-up and introduction of new products, product quality improvement, productivity increases and capacity changes. Use knowledge of advanced equipment and techniques (e.g. viscometers, refractometers, moisture analyzers, fat staining and starch staining) to support development of food products including protein shakes, protein waters and flavored drinks. Interpret external studies, collate internal knowledge, analyze statistical data, and direct cross-functional teams to accomplish scientific and technical investigation projects or developments to create and define new processes or operating procedures. Provide innovative, timely and cost effective scientific insight and understanding to lead innovation in discovery, evaluation and advancement of new technologies in food/process research and development of new and/or improved products and processes.
Position Requirements Minimum of three (3) years of experience as Food Technologist, Senior Food Technologist, Research and Development Chemist or in a related occupation.
