Land O’Lakes Purina Feed LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Land O’Lakes Inc, is North America’s leading feed company, providing producers, cooperatives and dealers with an extensive line of animal feed, ingredients and services.
Position Purpose: This multi faceted position has responsibility for many areas including Customer service duties to dealers, retail customers and bulk. Additional duties include bulk and retail orders forecasting and E1 order entry. Logistics included in the role are: compiling and arranging weekly orders from mainland to Kapolei warehouse and neighbor island shipments. Provides sales support to Account Manager. Acts as a Sales Admin including duties such as preparing contract pricing & follow through, internal sales order taking (gathering demand) and E1 input for both retail and bulk. Provides back up retail store sales on POS.
Required (Basic) Experience & Education High school degree or GED required. Three plus years in customer service including POS experience. One plus years in logistics. Microsoft office suite including competent level in Microsoft Excel.
Required Competencies & Other Skills People & sales skills. Team worker that will execute plans with limited supervision in a goal driven environment. Problem solver. Constant learner.
Preferred Experience & Education College education preferably in agriculture or business administration. Analytical and process flow understanding in a constant changing environment (Problem solver). Online purchasing (PO’s, OT,ST experience) and receiving for products. Inventory experience.
Preferred Competencies & Other Skills Sales experience. Fast learner with the ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment. High level of competency in Microsoft excel. Analytical and numbers oriented. Experience with People Soft (E1) or SAP.
