Position Purpose: The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for all aspects of local environmental, health, and safety programs. This includes: hazard analysis, development and implementation of action plans, monitoring environmental and safety resources, training development, reporting, and reinforcing our safety culture. The incumbent will work very closely with internal Moark Corporate EHS manager to implement company initiatives.
Required (Basic) Experience & Education Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Industrial Hygiene, or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related industry and a manufacturing environment.
Required Competencies & Other Skills Strong technical background in regulations, safety, ergonomics, environmental, and behavior safety concepts. Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Hazardous Materials. Must be skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent customer and interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationships with internal customers and outside vendors. Ability to shift multiple priorities with calm and confident demeanor. Written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Competencies & Other Skills Ability to speak and understand Spanish is highly desired.
