Serve as commercial representative for the Kinder Morgan Materials Services Business Unit. Manage existing customer base and develop new customer business / contracts for the dry bulk, liquid bulk and breakbulk transloading operations.
Through extensive customer contact, effectively market and sell company services to meet established goals and objectives.
Support the contract administration process to effectively manage the development and execution of customer contracts
Support Customer Service to assure satisfaction of products and services provided
Effectively communicate with Operations ro ensure feasibility of projects
Support accounts receivable and collection efforts
Participate in the acquisition and expansion projects for the region
Effectively network across company regions and business units regarding customers and capabilities
Recognize and promote ideas that provide safer, more efficient and cost effective oeprations
Effectively interface with customer representatives, regulators, Kinder Morgan staff and others as required
Effectively apprise and communicate with senior management of inquiries, prospective business and market trends
Other functions as assigned

Position Requirements

4 year degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering field with relatable experience.
MBA is a plus
Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in commercial / industrial sales and marketing for the transportation and/or warehousing service industry is required
Demonstrated successful experience in negotiating customer agreements
Familiarity with financial metrics and terminology
Knowledge of the products, modes of transport, methods of handling and customers associated with the transload industry is strongly preferred
Effective oral and written communications
Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)
Ability to accept direction and work cooperatively with others
Will require substantial travel
