Long Description:
Position Description
• Comply with all Federal, OSHA, EPA, and Company Regulations, Policies and Guidelines.
• Lubricates moving parts as specified by work order and technical manual.
• Replaces fluids, oil and air filters.
• Perform equipment inspections as required.
• Participate in and successfully complete required training and related testing.
• Actively participate in and promote safety and environmental programs.
• Communicates effectively and professionally with Supervisors, coworkers and customers.
• Ensure assigned equipment and facility housekeeping is conducted as required. A high degree of cleanliness and organization should be maintained.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
• Operates mobile equipment as needed.
• Safely utilize and operate various hand tools.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
• Must possess and maintain a valid Drivers License.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including but not limited to: walking up and down stairs/ladders; negotiating uneven surfaces and carrying 50 pounds frequently.
• Meet training, certification and qualification requirements on assigned equipment.
• Must have the ability to work as a valued team member, take direction from supervision, keep required work schedule, maintain a high degree of attention to detail and follow all applicable rules, policies and regulations.
• Work schedule as assigned (days/evening shifts) including weekend and overtime assignments
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions decimals).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Successful completion of mandatory drug screen and background check upon job offer
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work in high, precarious places and extreme heat (non-weather)
