An Advisory Analyst provides technical and analytical support for Mercer's Health & Benefits client accounts with 500-5000 employees. To fulfill this role in our Salt Lake City office, the Advisory Analyst will:

* Lead production of financial reviews of renewals, marketing plans, valuations and cost estimates for client proposals
* Work with clients and carriers to gather data and conduct research for client plans and special projects
* Resolve day-to-day service issues using a variety of Mercer resources
* Develop client relationships and lead projects
* Be viewed by clients as the key service person on the Mercer team

Qualifications

* BA/BS degree in math/statistics or similar studies
* 2 years underwriting experience with health insurance company or brokerage
* Superior analytical and mathematical skills; strong command of Excel
* Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
* Ability to work independently and on a team.
