Long Description:
As a Product Marketing Manager for the NetApp Business Value Selling Tool, you will lead the effort to drive sales and channel adoption of its field-selling tool for demonstrating economic value to prospective customer accounts. A strong understanding of NetApp's products, financial fundamentals, TCO/ROI-based value propositions, and enterprise IT selling strategies is crucial to your success. As is a proven track record in driving broad-based sales tool training and support and strong presentation and speaking skills. Success in this job will be measured by the worldwide adoption of this new tool and selling methodology by the NetApp sales teams.
Job Requirements • Experience with assisting sales reps and system engineers to use selling tools in customer environments and presenting analysis to customers. Experience with TCO/ROI tools strongly preferred.
• Experience in presenting to a wide range of internal and external audiences, including executives.
• Experience in developing a training plan and methodology for a world-wide sales force, including channel partners and Global System Integrators.
• Previous experience in creating tool training materials for sales reps, system engineers, and partners and deliver training to multiple audiences
• A strong understanding of NetApp's products (or storage, system, server products), economic value propositions, and enterprise IT selling strategies is crucial.
• Experience in setting and tracking metrics pertaining to sales tool effectiveness and efficiency and driving to results
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, particularly with sales management.
• Marketing and sales experience in the high technology industry.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Education and Experience •Proven experience in compiling and presenting financial value and business cases to customers
•10 years experience in IT industry, some storage experience preferred
•10 years in outbound product marketing, selling tools, or enterprise sales role
•Strong communication skills
•BS in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
•MBA preferred
