Description
The engineer holding this position is responsible for ensuring Intel�s new and future workstation and server chipsets meet all quality and reliability goals while minimizing cost and maintaining performance. This involves validating quality and reliability at all stages including product concept, design process, initial silicon, manufacturing and integration into customer systems. In this position you will be working with the most advanced silicon processes and products in the world. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring circuit design and component fabrication meets Intel�s requirements through simulation, modeling and data collection
- Developing validation plans, flows and conditions to meet quality, reliability and schedule requirements
- Identifying and addressing quality and reliability risk areas introduced with new design, new specifications, and or new processes. This will require development of new Q&R tests, techniques and procedures
- Trouble shooting and solving complex problems that arise due to tools, design or processes
- Working in a team environment to develop plans, to develop new techniques and to solve problems
- Thorough understanding of underlying models and tool functionality
- Collecting data, analyzing data and drawing conclusions from data

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current MS level school classes, projects, research and any relevant previous job and/or internship experience:
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a recent college graduate (within 18 months of receiving/having received your degree).
- Must be graduating with a Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics.
- Must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship (CPT/OPT is not available).
- Minimum 2yrs experience in both digital and analog design.
- Minimum 2yrs experience in CMOS design processes covering architecture, logic design, circuit design, RTL, synthesis, layout, full chip design, and timing.
- Minimum 2yrs experience in CMOS fabrication processes and computer hardware.
- Minimum 2yrs experience with C++, Perl and scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Intel internship or an Intel scholarship recipient.
- 1+yrs experience in semiconductor physics and integrated circuit reliability.
