Description
Software and Services Group (SSG) Developer Products Division (DPD) has openings for software developers to work on Binary Translation (BT) technologies on Intel Architecture. We are looking for a senior validation and tools engineer to work on the co-validation project and to participate in a project which is developing a Binary Translation product for use in Hybrid Processors as well as other. The responsibilities will include defining the validation and tools infrastructure required for BT software. In this position, you will be working on developing tools and defining validation infrastructure for the code that is optimized for Intel� Architecture (IA).
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science and a minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience depending on degree level. Additional qualifications include:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the following areas:
- Excellent software development skills in C and/or C++ programming on the Windows* or Linux* operating system
- Excellent development skills in Perl, and Shell scripts
- Previous validation and tools experience in HW Architecture, Compilers, or Runtimes or Systems Software (Linux* and/or Windows* OS, VMMs)
- Excellent knowledge of validation, functional simulation, debug, and development tools
Understanding of computer architectures and familiarity with microprocessor architectures, IA Instruction Set Architecture, and IA Memory Model would be an added advantage. Good analytical and problem solving skills would be an added advantage.
