SW Validation Tools Engineer - 573674
Description
This is a position for software developer within DEG Electrical Validation. The team is responsible for validation of component to component electrical interconnects on processors and chipsets. In this position, you will be responsible for variety of tasks including development, test and maintenance of low level and system level stress software as well as automation and infrastructure tools used to collect and analyze results.
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor or a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong software development skills, including good understanding of development process and software quality methods
- Good working knowledge of object oriented programming; able to read and understand component register specifications
- Strong debug skills and a self starter
- Intel processor architecture knowledge, C/C++, C#, .NET, Python, COM, database programs, familiarity with Intel PC system architecture, interfacing software directly to hardware would be an added advantage.
