Description
As a Senior Reliability Engineer you will define the reliability requirements that components and systems must achieve company, customer and any governmental agency reliability objectives. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Evaluating, from a reliability standpoint, the materials, properties and techniques used in production
- Advises design engineering on selection, application and test of electronic components and systems
- Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability
- Develops new acceleration techniques and analytical tools to assure the early identification of potential problems with new products, packaging, processes, and product reliability
- Makes recommendations for changes in the selection and application of components and systems
- Behavioral traits for this position include: Strong self motivation with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to quickly become a strong contributor both as an individual and as part of a highly dynamic Technology Development team
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of your PhD school work/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a recent college graduate (within 18 months of receiving/having received your degree)
- Must be graduating with a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Minimum 3 years experience in statistical data analysis
- Minimum 3 years experience in Bench test equipment (SPA, O-scope, and others)
- Minimum 2 years experience in CMOS transistor level circuit design
- Minimum 2 years experience in semiconductor device physics
Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in reliability physics
- 3+ years experience in semiconductor device physics
- Unrestricted right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
