Description
Intel Massachusetts Microprocessor Design Center is looking for an Analog Design Engineer to contribute in the Analog Clock Generation and/or I/O design space for Intel's High-performance Microprocessor designs. Job activities include technology pathfinding, circuit specification, IC circuit design and characterization, layout supervision, documentation, Design for Test, and Design for Manufacturing of analog and mixed signal blocks. Analog design responsibilities may consist of but not be limited to high performance low-jitter PLLs, on-die voltage regulators and references, high speed transmitters and receivers, and other elements necessary to design, verify, and productize high performance analog solutions for high speed serial links. Minimal travel may be required.
Qualifications
Candidate should possess an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in analog design. Additional qualifications include:
- Intern or Coop experience in general IC analog and/or mixed-signal design is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good written and oral communication skills are extremely important.
- Familiarity with Cadence IC design tools would be an added advantage.
