Brief Job Description:

* Provide Electrical Power Systems Engineering assistance to operations (ATO) and small project design support for the three manufacturing areas.
* Assist the Energy and Control (E&C) mechanics in troubleshooting and maintenance of the electrical distribution systems on the plant.
* Provide assistance in providing vision and small project support to improve and develop all these systems and facilities to meet plant needs, improve productivity, eliminate operating problems and address obsolescence.
* Modernization and replacement electrical facilities such as substations and emergency power systems. Support the electrical power initiatives planned or underway including the replacement of all 480 MCCs and selected 600V switchgear, installation of wireless Modbus communications from Multilin power quality meters and Multilin motor management relays, and modeling of the electrical system in SKM. SKM modeling includes a load study, protective device coordination, short circuit analysis, and arc flash calculations.
* Key PSM roles such as the electrical safety resource and site electrical safety team leader, such that this individual will ensure facilities are adequate, procedures and training are in place and plant standards are reviewed and maintained.
* Responsible for the accuracy and adequacy of all process technology documentation.
* Experience with instrumentation and control systems would be beneficial. Industrial facility, in-plant, experience would be beneficial.

Qualifications


* BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Institution
* 5-15 years experience in the electrical distribution and power systems field
* Manufacturing experience
