Position Summary:
Kimpton Restaurant Group is currently looking for a Lounge Manager to manage the fabulous Topaz Bar.

Ensure restaurant staff is thoroughly trained in service sequence, product knowledge, and makes every effort to meet the needs of each and every guest. Responsible for leading service education through daily line-ups; administer server, busser, host and bartender training programs; develop and maintain ongoing development programs, seminars; daily evaluation of restaurant service performance; employee discussion and evaluations and coordination of timely food production.

Supervise employees in accordance to the organization policies and applicable laws. This includes interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. To effectively present information and respond to questions generated from managers, clients, customers and general public.

Required Skills & Experience:
College degree and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
