Reports to: Director of Engineering

This position is responsible for assisting in the overall engineering/maintenance operations.
Here are some examples of the key competencies:

Uses expertise to advise and implement changes to the maintenance and repair of the hotel based on routine inspections and guest comments.

Accountable for guest satisfaction by ensuring maintenance service and loss-prevention standards are met and guests' needs are responded to in a timely manner.

Resolves guests' complaints and concerns in courteous and friendly manner, focuses on service recovery when applicable.

Analyzes quality issues, identifies training needs and ensures implementation to improve results.
Conduct routine inspections of hotel property to maintain standards per brand, local, state and federal regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:
Education: High school diploma or GED, College degree or equivalent experience preferred. CPO, HVAC, boiler, Serve Safe certification desired, or the ability to obtain certification based on policy guidelines.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 3-5+ years relevant experience required. Must be detail oriented, have ability to communicate well with all levels within and outside the organization, and be able to problem-solve with employees and guests. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds consistently throughout shift. Significant bending required.
