Description

Overland Park Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare's Midwest Division, is located in Overland Park, Kansas and has been serving the healthcare needs of Johnson County and the surrounding counties since December of 1978. The hospital is a licensed 343-bed facility offering acute medical care services to our patients. The hospital campus features four medical office buildings, two pharmacies and the offices of more than 100 physicians.

The Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) provides direct and indirect perioperative nursing tasks for patients requiring surgical intervention. This person must be self-motivated, possess good communication skills and have the ability to prioritize in emergent situations.

This position requires a minimum of two years of first assisting experience .
Strong multi-specialty first assisting experience including Cardiac, Neurological, Orthopedic, Vascular, Trauma, Gynecological and laparoscopic procedures preferred but not required.

Qualifications


Required Job Qualifications include:

* Call is required for this position.
* First Assist Certification required.
* Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree and hold a current license from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
* BCLS is required upon hire.
