Job Description

SAP Business Analyst – This position supports the analysis and project management of financial projects primarily related to the SAP R/3 application.

1. Responsible for the configuration and daily support of the SAP FI and CO modules that are already implemented with a focus on GL, AP, AR and Financial Reporting.
2. Provide first and second line support for user issues
3. Troubleshoot user issues; create functional specifications for custom programs; document business process procedures; create training documentation; conduct user training; configure the system for new functionality; conduct testing of new configuration or custom programs; support loading of new master data or changes of master data
4. If necessary, research in SAP OSS and implementation of OSS notes
5. Support projects to implement new and enhance existing functionality including articulating requirements and translating them into effective solutions.
6. Participate in new functionality design analysis and testing.
7. Define application requirements by reviewing internal customer requests and conducting internal Donnelley customer interviews when needed.
8. Participate in project planning by providing estimated hours and target dates for all project related tasks before development begins.
9. Communicate project status by creating written status reports on a predetermined schedule for large development efforts.

Required Skills

Broad understanding of financial business processes

Functional knowledge of common Financial interfaces or programs (i.e. Bank, Tax, Lockbox)

Strong problem solving skills, organizational skills, and communications skills (written and oral)
Required Experience

Candidate should possess a 4 year degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field. A graduate degree (ideally an MBA) would be an advantage.

Minimum three to five years of related IT experience

Minimum three years of SAP R/3 Finance (FI) & Controlling (CO) configuration and implementation experience.

Knowledge of integration of FI/CO with other SAP modules
