Job Description

This role will be a key resource supporting the DAO, Digital Asset On-boarding, application. The Business Analyst would be responsible for assisting with gathering business and functional requirements, on-boarding customers, testing and support.



Primary consequence of not adding the position include inability for the team to complete critical tasks in a timely manner for:

* project requirements

* on-boarding new customers

* testing release functionality and regression testing to have a stable product
Required Skills

1. Apply structured methodology in the creation of requirements from the business perspective, translated into easily understood formats that are acted upon by the various technical design and development teams in IT.
2. Assist in the analysis and design of new business processes around requirements definition, information gathering, and consistent documentation methodologies.
3. May formulate alternative solutions to satisfy business requirements.
4. Serve as a liaison between internal customers and functional IT departments during the initial phases of development efforts for various business initiatives.
5. Serve as a liaison between internal customers and functional IT to gather customer on-boarding requirements.
6. Create and execute detailed test cases and analyze results.
7. Analyze methodologies for process improvements, better utilization of resources, product enhancements, improved communications and faster issue resolution.
8. Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.



NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Assist in the preparation of conceptual design documents.
2. Assist in defining user interface standards.
3. May assess available technologies and recommend solutions to technical teams.




Required Experience

1. College degree or equivalent.
2. Experience with software development methodology.
3. Strong written and verbal communications.
4. Ability to multi-task and change priorities rapidly.
5. Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations.
6. Must be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customers.
7. Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and work ethic.
8. Strong problem solving ability with ability to apply appropriate solutions.
9. Knowledge of graphical user interface design standards and techniques a plus.
10. Strong experience with MS Office applications.





EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum three years experience in applicable business area.
2. Minimum three years working with customers, sales, and development teams for technology related efforts.
3. Minimum two years experience working in a internet development environment.
4. Extensive working knowledge of the Office Suite of products.
