Job Description

SUMMARY
Responsible for performing the essential duties listed below and to meet the quality expectations and production efficiencies as set forth by the customer and the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

CLASSIFICATION I
Packers, helpers, general inspection, general factory, computer data entry

CLASSIFICATION II
Operators of lamination machines, shrink machine
Assisting in the set up of screening equipment, operations of screen washing
Backsplitting
Screening inspector/racker
Bag Machine Catcher/Inspector

CLASSIFICATION III
Setup and operating of slitter and rewinding machines
Plant trucking, material handling, loading and unloading of trucks
Shipping and receiving
Setup and operate shear cutter
Ink Mixing/Inventory
Quality Control/Dock Auditor

CLASSIFICATION IV
Shipping and receiving assistant
Screen maker/plate maker
Screen printers capable of doing all Classification II activities with proficiency and in accordance with standards established.
Bag Machine Operator

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Education, GED or equivalent.
·Some knowledge of press techniques used in printing to produce finished printed materials preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate or interpret instruction.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out basic written or oral instructions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Employee may work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Expect to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
