Job Description

The Digital Solutions Group is responsible for identifying, developing, and deploying new products, services, and businesses across each market Donnelley serves. Working together with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams, the Digital Solutions Group identifies opportunities to bring new capabilities to market, and ensures coordination between both internal and external development resources.

Reporting to the Vice-President of Product Management & Innovation, this role focuses on identifying opportunities to grow market share for technologies and services relating to digital print on demand, electronic delivery of content, customer facing portal interaction, and enterprise print management & procurement services.

Job duties include:

* In conjunction with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and IT, plan and execute both the strategic and tactical activities relating to the application’s feature set, release cycle, pricing, competitive analysis, and the creation of customer facing communications that convey the solution value proposition.
* Maintain an ongoing understanding and assessment of the competitive environment. Monitor market trends to evolve and improve the product offerings.
* Develop and manage all sales materials that convey the benefit of the solution to customers; including product launch materials, demonstration videos, promotional websites, direct to customer campaigns, and online demonstration sites of the solution set.
* Provide leadership, innovation, and direction to the solution set using a stage gate development process to prioritize projects.
* Work with Corporate IT to coordinate product development activities, business requirements, launch timelines, tracking feature requests, product feedback, improvements, and innovations.
* Generates enthusiasm among team members and proactively seeks opportunities to serve in leadership roles.
* Manages the process of innovative change.

Required Skills

Qualifications:

* An undergraduate degree, MBA preferred.
* At least 6 years of progressive experience in product management.
* Knowledge of customer facing desktop publishing and dynamic publishing composition engines that drive digital print on demand would be an asset.
* Demonstrated experience and success in selling or promoting comprehensive print management solutions to enterprise accounts.
* Professional presentation style and business acumen.
* Experience in producing conceptual videos and demonstrations for both clients and sales training.
* Familiar with offset, digital, and InkJet print equipment, output types (XML. PPML, and PDF), and related production matters.
* Experience working with both onshore and offshore development and production teams for the building of technical features, and the on boarding of new enterprise accounts.
