Description

The Warehouse Operator position is with Gold Country Seed, a Brand within the Seed and Trait Commercial Organization of Monsanto, based out of Hutchinson, MN. You will work in an environment where passion and team spirit go hand in hand. You will be encouraged to take initiative and help develop this role. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving packed seed on pallets with a forklift as well as handling the preparation of packed seed and customer orders. The correct interpretation of loading instructions is required as well as the building of palleted seed orders on the pallets.

Responsibilities:

* Handling packed seed with a forklift
* Lifting seed bags, which can weigh up to 70 lbs
* Accuracy and the ability to work in a fast past, multi-tasking environment
* Handling orders and preparing customer orders
* Ensuring good packaging and storage of goods

Qualifications


* Forklift certification and CDL license, or the willingness and ability to obtain these certifications
* The ability to lift up to 70 lbs
* Initiative and an eagerness to learn
* The willingness and ability to work in a shift system
