Weyerhaeuser Eugene requires a Millwright with a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial environment, preferably the wood products sector. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs, project work and troubleshooting of process equipment.

As a millwright, you will undertake work that ranges from trouble-shooting to general preventative maintenance, including equipment repairs as well as project-related activities. This position pays $21.04, after completing the 60 day probation period rate of pay will be $22.04.

All candidates must be safety conscious, self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, be experienced in working with other crafts, and have a desire to work in a market focused, team environment.

Key Functions
Machine center troubleshooting, repair, assembly and preventative maintenance; reading blue print and sketches proficiently to fabricate equipment and make modifications.
Qualifications

Requirements:

* Oregon State Millwright Card or equivalent
* Millwright experience in an industrial setting
* Experience in hydraulic circuitry
* Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
* Strong trouble-shooting, problem-solving and communication skills
* Well-developed planning and organizational abilities
* Willingness to work alternate shifts and weekends
* Job planning, machine center alignment, and cutting/welding required.
