Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
You may oversee and assist management in administering the Equal Employment Opportunity program in accordance with federal laws, rules and regulations and policy and procedure.You may oversee the Occupational and Health and Safety and Workers Compensation programs to ensure compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.You may implement, coordinate and monitor actions related to facilities by monitoring projects for building modifications, repairs and alterations.You may handle matters relating to employee, physical, contract, document information, and operations security and resolve conditions, issues, or problems related to these security programs.You may oversee procurement activities, including preparation of requisitions and purchase goods and services, ensuring adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations, other federal laws, rules and regulations, and USCIS guidelines and procedures.You may manage/update asset management systems; performing required inventories within established schedules and policies.You may plan, review, manage and monitor operational activities and requirements within allocated budget levels.You may provide advice, guidance and instruction to managers, supervisors and employees concerning all administrative programs that include complex and sensitive issues.
Job Requirements:
You qualify at the GS-11 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the skills needed to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level.Examples includecoordinating and monitoring a variety of administrative projects (e.g., budget, personnel, travel, space, logistics); identifying and recommending solutions to a wide range of administrative problems; analyzing administrative data from a variety of sources to develop trends, patterns, profiles, estimates, and studies; preparing preliminary and finished reports and documents; and representing the office in dealings with vendors and personnel from administrative support organizations.GS-12You qualify at the GS-12 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the skills needed to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
