Description
Monsanto is seeking a highly motivated individual to become an integral member of our Global Cotton Breeding Team in Scott, MS. The successful candidate will provide support for the development and implementation of sit specific Safety and Health programs for the Cotton Breeding Team as well as other designated department teams located at Scott. Candidate will be the primary lead for ESH required safety programs at site through auditing, coaching and training of site employees.
Responsibilities:
· The development and implementation of site specific Safety and Health Programs.
· Working with site management and personnel to achieve desired ESH site goals.
· Helping guide the development of Job Safety Analysis for all work related activities.
· Coordination of routine safety meetings.
· Preparation and retention of ESH program documents and performance of other ESH duties as required.

Qualifications
1. Education: High School diploma, or its equivalent, is required
2. Candidate must have 2 or more years of ESH work related experience or 2 or more years of college in the discipline of Agronomy, Agribusiness, Business or related field of study.
3. Proficient computer skills - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
4. Demonstrated decision-making, problem solving and team building skills
5. Strong organization and communication skills
6. Results - detail oriented - must see programs through to completion
7. Ability to work with site management and site employees in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitment to goals and objectives.
8. Maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
9. Willingness to work overtime if needed and to travel to ESH training seminars
Desired skills/education/experience/attributes (ideal candidate):
1. Working knowledge of ESH, OSHA regulations and seed production processes.
