Description

Monsanto is seeking a highly motivated individual to support its High Throughput Genotyping Facility based on Ankeny, IA. As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the flow of supplies, capital and overall operation needs for our global genotyping facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Day to day inventory management, forecasting, and planning
* SAP data entry
* Data and report analysis utilizing multiple software tools
* Financial and budgetary analysis with regard to inventory management
* Ensure inventory management processes are ISO compliant
* Serve as an escalation point to resolve invoice issues
* Liaison between Molecular Breeding Technology and Procurement



Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

* 1+ years previous supply chain experience
* BS in Supply Chain Management or a related field of study
* Inventory management and forecasting skills
* Basic cost analysis
* Spend analysis techniques
* Proficient with MS Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High level of enthusiasm, energy and motivation to learn and succeed
* Ability to simultaneously mange multiple tasks and project
* Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Successful completion of a 6 month Co-op assignment at Monsanto in Supply Chain Management or related division
