Monsanto is seeking an Operations Warehouse Assistant to supports its Multi Season Programs based on Oahu. You will be involved in all facets of the warehouse operation at the Kunia farm. You will be would be responsible for variety of tasks at Kunia farm warehouse, including but not limited to; receiving all deliveries, unloading deliveries, maintaining inventory of warehouse contents, and tracking and reporting usage of materials for reordering decisions. This work will also include internal mail delivery and receipt of seed for planting. You will also help out where needed with other on going Operations programs, while potentially being called upon to supervise Seed Technicians and or Field Workers in completing warehouse related tasks.

In this position you will work closely with and support other on-site personnel in an effort to consistently establish the highest standards in the industry for safety, quality, cost, and facilities reliability.

Responsibilities:

* Assist MSP Operation Associate in meeting the needs of all user groups on the Kunia Farm.
* Supervise Seed Technicians and Field Crew members in meeting the needs of all users on the Kunia Farm
* Supervise warehouse operations
* Ensure all warehouse inventoried items are properly accounted for and overall inventory accuracy
* Organize and distribute all related shipping documents when receiving goods
* Develop and implement a inventory system which maintains records of warehouse inventory
* Maintains inventory of supplies and tracks usage for re-order decision making
* Maintains a safe working environment in the warehouse
* Receives all deliveries to the farm, including seed, mail and supplies
* Operations forklift to facilitate the unloading and storage of deliveries to the farm
* Participate in the maintenance and upkeep of the research farm
* Assist in providing support for the ESH and Human Resources programs.
* Perform other duties as assigned



Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

* High school degree/GED required.
* 3+ years experience in warehouse management and operations
* Proficient with computer programs related to inventory management and data base management.
* Ability to lead and motivate team members to achieve project goals
* Knowledge of record keeping for equipment maintenance and repair required by OSHA.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
* Ability to function as a team member.
* Ability to operate a forklift and other machinery.

Desired Skills/Experience:

*
Associate of Science Degree in a related field.
*
Experience in crop production and/or agricultural research.
