Description

The Associate Manager - Business Insights is responsible for analytically supporting Business Insights function in the Consumer Insights department. This position offers strong exposure and accountability and requires gaining the confidence of both the Sr. Marketing team and the KFC organization so that optimal business decisions are made. The Associate Manager - Business Insights will:



Measure and Learn from every national promotion and significant competitive activity to develop actionable recommendations that positively impact future sales (50%)

Post national promotional reviews with integrated financial analysis, consumer tracking, operation and supply chain feedback
* Weekly dashboard reports to keep the brand informed of business results, competitive promotions and testing that will inform and impact our calendar

Ongoing Trend Monitoring and Semi-Annual comprehensive State of the Brand report (50%)

*

Develop Impactful consumer trend, industry, competitive,brand and window analysis to support strategic/AOP and calendar planning
* Continuous tracking of consumer trends, industry development and competitive activities to help the brand stay ahead of the curve

* Develop new measurement and analytic tools to enable better business decision making (e.g. pricing study, 1-800 complaint analysis)






Minimum Requirements





* Masters’ degree in Marketing, Marketing Research or Social Science (e.g. Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics)

* 5 years+ marketing research, business analysis or marketing science experience

* Strong analytical skills with a superb aptitude to synthesize complex data from multiple sources into straight forward actionable insights

* Working knowledge and experience with NPD/CREST data is desirable

* Experience in the restaurant category, retail or food industry is a plus
