Description
As a KFC Marketing Brand Manager, you will:
* Lead a cross functional project team, which includes Operations, Training, R&D, Consumer Insights and Procurement, to develop and test concepts to support a menu pipeline to ensure relevant and well positioned new marketing ideas and product launches.
* Participate in the development of product concepts, help uncover relevant consumer insights and translate these insights into provocative consumer advertising.
* Perform detailed category and brand analysis (including consumer, competitive and financial) to identify marketing opportunities and formulate strategic business action plans.
* Provide nationally replicable marketing recommendations that will drive same store sales and transactions profitably.
* Lead the execution of test markets, including development of merchandising strategy, creative strategies for both merchandising and television.
* Write and deliver presentations that "sell" recommendations to internal senior level teams and to external partners including franchisee associations. Also provide in-depth post analysis of test market results.
* Build productive relationships with all stakeholders internally: culinary, research and development, restaurant support services, procurement, field marketing, franchisees and externally: creative agencies, printers and photographers.
Minimum Requirements

* A consumer insights mindset and the ability to turn insights into actions
* A strong bias for action and demonstrated desire for ownership
* A solid understanding of marketing fundamentals
* A strong customer focus and the ability to use and understand consumer insights intelligence in decision making and actions
* The voice of the customer in cross-functional project meetings
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skils in both team leader and team player roles
* Excellent analytical skills with experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data
* Experience in managing creative development processes
* Solid financial/budget management skills
* 3-5 years experience
* Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred
