Primary Job Responsibilities



Process Engineer is responsible for conceptual design, process development and /or detailed process design. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of eight years experience in the Biopharmaceutical Industry in one or more of the following areas: fermentation, cell culture, downstream processing, purification, and/or precipitation operations. Duties include generating P&ID’s, PFD’s, sizing and specifying equipment, start-up, troubleshooting and commissioning. Knowledge of FDA and EMEA guidelines and manufacturing company experience are a plus.

Training and Experience





BS or MS Chemical Engineering with pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry experience. Eight years minimum experience with excellent engineering judgment to ensure that projects are brought to successful completion on time and within budget. Candidate should possess project discipline lead skills, as well as strong computer and AutoCAD skills, and will work in a team environment, possess excellent written (documentation) and oral (presentation) communication skills. Prior consulting experience and a PE license preferred. Willingness to travel is required.
