Primary Job Responsibilities



Jacobs Engineering Group is currently seeking an Office Engineer to join our Construction Engineering and inspection team in New Jersey.



Primary responsibilities will include:



· Receives incoming submittals and correspondences and processes, including document control system entry.

· Receives and processes comments from reviewers before sending submittals back to contractor.

· Maintaining tracking system for all correspondence, submittals, deliverables, FCR, NCR, DR, and RFI. Prepares status reports as required.

· Develops transmittals and correspondence. Maintains Correspondence log.

· Provides copying as required.

· Prepares meeting minutes.

· Assists Resident Engineer and contract administrator


Training and Experience

* Minimum 5+ years experience in an office engineering position on construction related projects



Additional Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications



* Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
* Strong PC Skills, familiar in the use of Expedition or similar software and Microsoft Office

* Strong time management and attention to detail
* Excellent organizational skills
* NJDOT ACES Experience a plus
* NJTA CapEx Experience a plus
