Primary Job Responsibilities
Plans and prepares production schedules for business unit or organization. Translates orders into a sequential work schedule: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion deadlines: Analyzes specifications and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements: Plans and schedules workflow for each operation according to previously established sequences and lead times: Plans sequence of operations: Confers with supervisors to determine status of assigned projects: Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions: Prepares status reports: May prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment. Consultant to management and internal and external spokesperson for organization on significant, major matters.
Training and Experience
Basic Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following requirements:
Minimum 10 yrs experience in all phases of project execution including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Management, System start-up, management and operations
10 years of experience required, BA/BS degree in engineering, construction management or related degree and project experience
10 years experience and proficiency in the use of Primavera P3 & P6, Claimdigger, Pertmaster, MS Project, Excel and Word.
Additional Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Other Essential Functions
Responsible for the development and maintenance of project plans and schedules
Experience with construction schedules, interfacing with subcontractors, resource loading quantity tracking and earned value progressing systems
Interface with project team and disciplines to define scope of work
Support development of and maintenance of periodic status reports
Analyze schedule progress and performance and pinpoint developing problem areas Identify variances from original plan and risks that may affect schedule, client relations, external and internal costs
Other Requirements
Travel will be required.
Must be available for short term and long term field assignments
