Primary Job Responsibilities



Jacobs is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer and/or Structural Design Manager to be located in our Iselin New Jersey Office.



Primary Responsibilities:



* Supervise the structure group and preparation of project deliverables.



* Coordinate and direct use of professional and technical staff assigned in the preparation of designs and project documents.



* Provide technical interface with Clients



* In addition, candidate needs to manage projects, engage in business development, project pursuits, preparation of proposals, and presentation materials.



Training and Experience



Basic Qualifications



* Minimum 15 years of bridge design and project management experience.



* Masters Degree in Structural engineering



* Professional Engineering License



* 15 + yrs experience in the analysis, design and construction of all types of steel and concrete bridges including long span bridges, segmental bridges, and movable bridges is a plus.



Additional Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications



* Should have experience in the supervision and development of staff



* Should have excellent communication and writing skills



* Strong technical skills overall
