Cost Engineer III

Location Arlington, VA, US

Primary Job Responsibilities



Work in either an office or field environment location. Develop, monitor, track, analyze, forecast and report on project budgets, estimates to complete, commitments and expenditures, project progress using earned value management process and productivity, work plans, project cost at completion, wbs coding, subcontracts and change management. Also provide support for project pricing and data analysis reporting at the organizational level. Work closely with client staff, project management, operations management, accounting and other project service groups.

Training and Experience



BS in technical field (Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management) and a minimum of four years position related experience with computer skills using MS office tools and the most current project management software programs. Must be proactive, self-starting and require minimal supervision and must have good verbal and written communications skills and a desire to work with details. Also should be willing to travel during the regular business week. Experience in both engineering/design and construction buildings type projects a plus.

Must be able to carry 20 lbs for a distance of 50 feet and be able to perform simple grasping, pulling and fine hand manipulation
