Quality Control Inspector

Primary Job Responsibilities



Performs non-routine assignments and draws upon knowledge to select and adapt procedures to meet needs. Serves as Lead and is responsible for directing the work of less experienced Inspectors. Works under moderate supervision. Assists project management in application of principles, methods, and techniques of technology. Reviews project specifications and assists with plan preparation, acceptance testing, evaluation of procedures, design changes, and reports. Conducts materials testing and analysis, using tools and equipment and applying technical knowledge necessary to conduct tests: Prepares reports detailing tests conducted and results: Inspects field fabrication piping sub assemblies: Inspects structural steel welds, connectors, braces, assemblies and finishes: Inspects module fabrication to determine conformance of modules to design specifications: May require certification for radiography, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant examinations to support NDE requirements.

Training and Experience



7 years of work and two years of technical education or equivalent experience required


Other Essential Functions



CWI required. Valid driver's license required.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, climbing, lifting, carrying, seeing, reaching, writing, working in hot/cold conditions, working indoors and outdoors.
