Sr. Control Systems Engineer

Primary Job Responsibilities



Candidate will perform PLC/HMI programming for Rockwell products. Assignments will include specification and implementation of variable frequency AC drives, DC drives, servo systems, transmitters and meters. Requirements include power distribution design and working with industrial networks, Ethernet and DH+. In addition, experience with operating systems administration and archive databases is preferred. The candidate will also manage projects and supervise other supporting staff with responsibilities for schedule (both project and department), budget (both project and department), scope development, start-up and commissioning for projects. Candidate must be able to estimate both pro services and budgetary purchase and install. The candidate will have direct interface and coordinate work with client, other engineers and subcontractors. Travel is required, approximately 30%. Flexible schedule is required including ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Training and Experience



10+ years experience plus engineering degree in Electrical, Process, or related. PE is strongly desired.

Five plus years of PLC programming and HMI software experience in the food industry. Allen Bradley PLC, Wonderware, Panel Builder and RSView experience is necessary to be successful in this position.



CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO BATTLE CREEK, MI with little to no assistance.
