Construction Management Intern

Primary Job Responsibilities

Position Summary:



Temporary position providing on the job training. Duties provide meaningful work experience and business knowledge to college students in their chosen field.



Technical/Functional Responsibilities:



· Reviews and processes submittals, RFI's, invoices, change orders, etc. under close supervision

· Drafts responses to both client and contractor concerns

· Assists in updating monthly reports, project schedules, meeting minutes, safety reviews and field inspections

· Handles various administrative duties

· Provides support to staff members as needed



Training and Experience

Must be enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's degree program at an accredited university
*
Uses prior experience to perform less routine aspects of assigned projects under close supervision, following established procedures. Has a basic understanding of the techniques, procedures, methods and the nature of the position.

Interest in heavy indsutrial construction industry focusing on the oil and gas industry
