Primary Job Responsibilities



The project manager is responsible for full performance of all phases of a major project or a group of smaller projects. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and controlling all technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of a project.



Selected candidate will lead the design team by coordinating project scope, schedules, and documentation. Other responsibilities include developing proposals, estimating design fees, and tracking performance of projects against internal company metrics. Project managers are also responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships.





Training and Experience



BS or MS degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related, plus professional registration (PE or AIA) or certification (PMP) required. Minimum 10 years experience in design project management, specifically with vertical/building construction projects within the Federal government, DOD, and Corps of Engineers sectors. Must possess the ability to interface with owners, contractors, and demonstrate the ability of delivering projects on time and within budget, while coordinating the project team. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills combined with a strong attention to detail is a must.
