Complete Description

This is currently a 20 bed unit with all private rooms. The patients are primarily post-op cardiothoracic patients and patients that received interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.

Staff on this unit are required to take the Cardiac portion of the Critical Care Class. The patient ratio is 4:1.

Responsibilities: Plan, direct and participate and collaborates with other disciplines to provide optimal care.

Education: Minimum Diploma program, Preferred BSN

Certification/Liceneses: Current Arizona RN license; CPR certification, ACLS certification.

Experience: Previous Cardiac experience required.
