Responsibilities: Assists in the nursing care of the surgical patient by performing scrub duties and related activities for surgical procedures, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Education: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.

Certification/License: Completion of course for Surgical Technicians. BLS Certification, ACLS for Heart Team Surgical Techs.

Experience: 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician in a comparable size OR.

Qualifications: Open Heart experience required.
