Complete Description

This Director provides overall management and strategic leadership for the Acute Care Telemetry unit. The ACT unit has 24 beds. The manager of the ACT unit reports to this Director.

The Director assures the Mission, Vision and Values of Northwest Medical Center are represented in all decisions for the delivery of services. The Director is also a member of the Nurse Executive Team, Leadership Councils and participates as a member of the management team.

Education: Commitment to continuous learning in appropriate field. Bachelor's degree in the area of specialty, business management or closely related field require. Master's degree preferred.

Certification/Licenses: Current Arizona RN licensure, BLS, required; ACLS, nationally recognized certification in the areas of expertise preferred.

Skills: Acting with integrity, analyzing and interpreting financial data, computer literacy, gathering needed information, delegating and supporting teams, evaluating decisions/solutions, improving work process, making effective decisions.
