Description
PRN House Sup. is Responsible for coordinating and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care during assigned shift. In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer and/or designee, the House Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the administrator on-call.

Qualifications


Education:

Graduate from a school of nursing, Bachelor of Science preferred.

Experience:

*
Desirable characteristics include at least three years experience as an R.N., in mulitple areas of nursing.
*
Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
*
Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.

Licenses/Certificates:

*
Must possess a current License as a Registered Nurse.
*
Must obtain and maintain a current certification in CPR.
*
Must maintain any other certificates for each specific department (i.e. ACLS, NRP, PALs, TNCC, etc.).
