Description

The Observation Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and policies..
Reports to the Clinical Coordinator and/or Surgical Services Director.

Qualifications

Education:
Graduate of a Baccalaureate, AD, or Diploma nursing program.

Experience:
Previous experience preferred.
At least two (2) years of recent previous clinical experience in acute care medical-surgical nursing preferred. One (1) year of critical care experience, cardiac assessment, and E.K.G. interpretation is highly desirable.

Licenses/Certificates:
Currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Current BLS/ACLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Advanced education and certifications desired.
