Description


Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, corrdinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.



Reports to the Clinical Coordinator and/or Surgical Services Director.

Qualifications


Education:

Graduate of a Baccalaureate, AD, or Diploma nursing program.



Experience:

Previous experience preferred.

Must exhibit technical expertise in the Post-Operative Care Unit with past experience in the PACU setting or in the critical care arena.



Licenses/Certificates:

Currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida as a Registered Professional Nurse.

Current BLS/ACLS certification

Advanced education and certification desired.
