Registered Nurse - Post Surgical (F/T)-0913476

Description

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

Responsible for nursing technicians, licensed practical nurses, graduate practical nurses, graduate nurses or registered nurses who may be working under or precepting under staff RN.

Responsible for demonstrating ethical and appropriate clinical behavior while continually assuring the patient's dignity, privacy and rights in respect to the population and any other care specific needs of the patient.

Reports to the shift Charge Nurse and Med/Surg Unit Director.

Qualifications

Education:
Graduate of an AD, Baccalaureate, or diploma nursing program.

Experience:
At least one year of recent previous clinical experience in acute care medical-surgical nursing preferred.


Licenses/Certificates:
Florida license to practice as a registered nurse.
Current CPR card.
Advanced certifications, training, and degrees maybe required.
