Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PRN)-0912849

Description

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for the assessment, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

Reports to the staff Charge Nurse and Critical Care Department Director.

Responsible for Nursing Technicians, Licensed Practical Nurses, Graduate Practical Nurses, Graduate Nurses, or Registered Nurses who may be working or precepting under the staff Registered Nurse.

Responsible for all staff on unit when fulfilling relief Charge Nurse role.

Responsible for demonstrating ethical and appropriate clinical behavior while continually assuring the patient's dignity, privacy and rights in respect to the populations and any other care specific needs of the patient.


Qualifications

Education:
Florida licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse.

Experience:
Clinical experience desired. Will have and maintain basic EKG skills.

Licenses/Certificates:
Currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Current BLS and ACLS.
Advanced certifications, training and degrees may be required.
