Description

To work within a program of treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system within the scope and realm of knowledge of the Respiratory Care Practitioner.

A General Staff RCP must be able to effectively utilize evaluation and assessment skills as well as possess the ability to administer indicated therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

Education:
Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician-Eligible, Registered Respiratory Therapist, and Registered Respiratory Therapist-eligible, as defined by the National Board of Respiratory Care.

Experience:
At least one year clinical training as provided by formal education process; other cardiopulmonary hospital-based experience helpful.

Licenses/Certificates:
Valid Florida license as issued by the Florida Bureau of Professional Regulations "Respiratory Care Act", Chapter 468.
Current BLS.
