Job Function Firethorn Holdings, LLC, a Qualcomm company, integrates application-based banking, bill payment, remote and proximity payments, coupons, marketing, ticketing and money transfers into a cohesive, interactive system - the Firethorn Mobile Consumer Wallet.

As a neutral, inclusive third-party provider working on behalf of our Network partners, Firethorn is focused on building the premier mobile banking and payments ecosystem - the Firethorn Network.

As a Sales Engineer for Firethorn you will be responsible for the following:

*Conduct technical sales presentations and develop sales decks


*Travel to customer and vendor sites to conduct provide hands-on engineering support. Position requires 50 percent travel.

*Troubleshoot, isolate, and triage system issues.

*Gather requirements and/or project status from customers and internal organizations.

*Work with members of the business team to drive initiatives.

* Build relationships with customer and partner teams. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing or escalating issues when appropriate.


Skills/Experience * Must be willing to travel up to 50%

* Two to six years technical management experience.

* Two to six year's experience in professional sales and support engineering, including designing, implementing, debugging and documenting complex systems.

* Network and system administration experience.


* Solid understanding of wireless communication technologies such as CDMA also a plus.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities * Previous experience working with mobile banking or mobile payments

* Previous experience selling to banks and/or financial institutions
Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
