Job Function The Engineering Management Solutions (EMS) IT team design, develops and manages systems & solutions in a number of areas including Product Data Management (PDM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Collaboration and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Qualcomm currently uses Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007. We are scheduled to upgrade to the 2010 release in a project scheduled from May through August and will need a strong intern to help us in this effort.

The SharePoint team within the Engineering Management Systems IT team has an opening for an internship position. This group maintains, supports and develops business solutions using Microsoft SharePoint. Requirements for this position include:

Good communication skills.

Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, business process analysis, computer systems analysis.

Ability to execute software test scripts, document test result, identify and log software defects using the following computer technology:
Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7
MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, InfoPath, OneNote
Browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is highly desirable

Education Requirements Degree major: Computer Information System or Systems Analysis or Computer Science
Minimum GPA 3.0
Courses: business process analysis, computer systems analysis, entry level programming, SQL, database administration, software quality assurance.
